Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology Competitive Grant Rd. 9

The primary goal of the Enhancing Education Through Technology Competitive (EETT C) grant program is to improve student achievement of the state content standards and technology literacy in grades four through eight with expanded access to technology, electronic resources, professional development, and enhanced communications.

Criteria
Eligibility is restricted to local educational agencies (LEAs), i.e. county offices of education (COEs), districts (or a consortium of districts), and direct-funded charter schools, that serve students in grades four through eight. LEAs must meet the eligibility criteria found in the EETT C RFA Guidelines.

Considerations
To be considered for funding, applicants (1) must have a state-approved district technology plan that aligns with California State Board of Education-adopted guidelines and the EETT criteria and (2) and must meet EETT C Grant eligibility requirements as specified in the RFA Guidelines.

Other A minimum of 25-percent of the grant must be spent on ongoing, sustained, and intensive, high-quality professional development. After successful implementation of the two year grant program, and depending on funding availability, a follow-up one year grant may be awarded to help sustain the program.
