The entitlement for the infant program equals the sum of all numbers of instructional personnel service units a SELPA allocates to its local educational agencies (LEAs) or LEA(s) of another SELPA, multiplied by the base rate of the type of classroom setting the instructional personnel service unit is served, plus the cost of aide for each type of class. The three classroom settings which infants are served include: 1) Special Day Class (SDC): Severe/Non-Severe 2) Resource Specialist Program (RSP) 3) Designated Instruction and Service (DIS) |

Other | Funds are paid through the Principal Apportionment. Principal Apportionment amounts are calculated three times for each fiscal year: The First Principal Apportionment (P-1) is certified by February 20th, the Second Principal Apportionment (P-2) is certified by July 2nd and the Annual calculation is certified by February 20th of the following year (at the same time as the following year’s P-1 certification). |
