FCMAT: COE Reimbursement for Extraordinary Cost of Audits

Funding Description

Funding is allocated to the Kern County Office of Education on behalf of and for the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) in support of its activities. The team assists and advises local educational agencies on their fiscal and administrative management responsibilities. This funding reimburses county offices of education for the extraordinary costs of audits, examinations, and reviews of district or charter school budgets in cases where there is reason to believe fraud or illegal fiscal practices may have or are occurring.
