Information on funds to local educational agencies for notifying parents and legal guardians of the oral health screening requirements.
Note: Through FY 2012-13, California Education Code (EC) Section 42605 authorizes complete flexibility in the use of funds for the Oral Health Assessment program. More information is available at Action on the 2008 and 2009 Budget Acts.
Oral Health Assessment District Reporting
EC Section 49452.8 states that all school districts shall submit a report each year to the county office of education of the county in which the school district is located.
