Become a Teacher

Resources for individuals interested in a career in teaching.

"California teachers do incredible work in and out of the classroom every day, supporting our students and delivering on the promise of education. We need you to answer the call to serve our students - at least 15,000 credentialed early educators are needed to help California expand public education to include Universal TK, and more teachers are also needed to meet the needs of our priority schools and help our students become the innovators of tomorrow. In order to help school districts with teacher recruitment, I have launched the first ever state-wide recruitment effort through the California Department of Education."Tony Thurmond, State Superintendent of Public Instruction
