California Universal Meals Implementation Survey


The deadline to complete Nutrition Policy Institute’s (NPI) voluntary statewide survey has been extended to allow for additional responses. Your input is incredibly important to communicating the benefits of Universal Meals in California.

NOTE: If you attempted to take the survey previously but were prevented from continuing because the software considered your email address invalid, NPI has fixed the issue. Before you re-attempt to take the survey, you will need to either 1) clear your web browser’s cache and cookies, 2) use a different web browser, or 3) use incognito/private mode for the fix to take effect.

The goal of this survey is to capture information from School Food Service Directors about your experiences with Universal Meals during School Year 2025–2026.

The survey will ask you to agree to participate prior to answering any questions. Your participation is completely voluntary. Responses will be kept confidential and not linked to your name or school in any reporting.
