Escribo en Español (Literary Contest)
Escribo en Español encourages third to twelfth grade students to further Spanish writing skills by providing awards for the best prose and poetry. The annual contest begins in November and ends in February. For information, contact the Professional Learning Support Division at 916-323-6440.
The Ruta Quetzal-BBVA is an academic and travel adventure. High school students in the twelfth grade of a California public school are eligible to enter the creative contest by preparing a writing, art, or music project. Concurso de Dibujo (Art Contest) and Concurso de Fotografía Juvenil (Photography Contest)
The consulates of Mexico encourage students, 7 to 13 years old, of Mexican origin to submit works of art for the annual Concurso de Dibujo Contest . High school students of Mexican origin from 14 years and up may enter the photography contest.

Scrivo in Italiano encourages third to twelfth grade students to further Italian writing skills by providing the best prose and poetry. The annual contest begins in February and ends in April.
