Late California Basic Educational Data System Submission

You are receiving this letter because California Basic Educational Data System (CBEDS) data were due to the California Department of Education (CDE) on October 31, 2023, and as of today, we have not received your local educational agency’s (LEA’s) CBEDS data.

We have received CBEDS data from most of the districts and counties in the state, but we need all data submissions before we can certify and release data statewide. Therefore, we ask that you work with your LEA’s CBEDS coordinator to submit your CBEDS data as soon as possible using the CBEDS-Online Reporting Application (ORA), which is available via the CDE CBEDS-ORA logon web page at http://www3.cde.ca.gov/opuscbeds/login.aspx.

If you believe that your LEA has already submitted its CBEDS data, please work with your LEA’s CBEDS coordinator to log on to CBEDS-ORA to verify your LEA’s submission status.
