OPUS-CDS Application and Resources

Access the Online Public Update for Schools (OPUS) - County-District-School (CDS) Web application, as well as resources to assist authorized local educational agency (LEA) CDS coordinators in using the application.

Web Application

Application used by authorized LEA CDS coordinators to notify the California Department of Education (CDE) of updates to information contained in the Public School Directory, such as contact information, personnel, agency name, school type, grade span, etc. Not all school and/or LEA information can be updated using the OPUS-CDS application. Please refer to the Methods for Submitting CDS Updates Web page for details on what updates can be made using the OPUS-CDS application and how to submit changes for information not managed through the OPUS-CDS application.
