Title III Technical Assistance for Improvement Agreement

Funding Description

Pursuant to statutory requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and in this transition year to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), local educational agencies (LEAs) that fail to meet accountability measures must develop an improvement plan or implement a current one. Funding is given to one lead county office of education within each region for the purpose of guiding LEAs through specific LEA plan development requirements to ensure success in meeting Title III requirements.
