2021-22 Differentiated Assistance Evaluation

Funding Description

The chosen applicant will conduct an independent evaluation of the Differentiated Assistance provided in the 2021-22 fiscal year for charter schools, local educational agencies, and county offices of education. Differentiated Assistance addresses performance issues, including significant disparities in performance among student groups based on the California School Dashboard. Differentiated Assistance is focused on building the capacity of local education agencies to develop and implement actions and services responsive to student and community needs. The independent evaluation is due on January 1, 2023.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Individuals, institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Applicants submitting proposals must have a minimum of four years of recent (within the last 7 years) full-time experience in conducting evaluation studies within the K-12 education setting.
Other Eligibility Considerations Any potential contractor must be in good standing with the State of California in order to submit a proposal for the purposes of this Solicitation of Proposals. The California Department of Education will check any contractor evaluations on file with the State of California. If performance by the applicant as a previous contractor for the State of California was unsatisfactory, they will be deemed ineligible.
