21st CCLC Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III Summer

Funding Description

The purpose of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Emergency and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III Summer Grant Program is to implement evidence-based summer enrichment programs, and ensure such programs respond to students' academic, social, and emotional needs and address the disproportionate impact of the corona-virus on the student populations, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care.

Required Eligibility Criteria	We was from the second round of applications. Schools must be 21st CCLC grantee and have verifiable Free and Reduced Price Meals (FRPM) data for 2020-21 through the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) to be considered in the funding determination.
Other Eligibility Considerations	This second round of applications should propose to provide services to schools that enroll students who may be at risk for academic failure, dropping out of school, involved in criminal or delinquent activities, or who lack strong positive role models, and to serve families of such students.
