Assessment System Independent Evaluation Study

The purpose of the funding is to implement an independent alignment study of California’s assessments that are used to calculate Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) for NCLB Title I accountability and that will provide information to allow the department to develop aligned descriptions of the content-based competencies associated with each achievement level.

Eligible Applicants	Institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria	Bidder should have at least 36 months experience in conducting alignment or evaluation studies of large-scale assessments.
