Funding Description

A special apportionment provided to local educational agencies that received an exemption from the June to July Principal Apportionment deferral, pursuant to California Education Code (EC) Section 14041.7.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) submitted an “Application and Certification to Exempt a [School District or Charter School] from the June 2014 Apportionment Deferral” to the California Department of Education and the Department of Finance by the April 1, 2014 deadline.
