Assessment Apportionments for the CAASPP, CELDT, and ELPAC.


Funding Description

Funding is provided to reimburse local educational agencies the cost associated with administering the CAASPP, CELDT, and/or ELPAC for the 2017-18 and prior school/fiscal years. The amount apportioned per student per test is established by the State Board of Education (SBE).

Allocation Formula CAASPP: $4.00 per student tested with any Smarter Balanced Field Test; $5.00 per student with the California Alternate Assessments (CAA) and/or CAA for Science; $2.52 per student tested with the STS; $5.00 per student tested with the CAPA; $2.52 per student tested as part of the Early Assessment Program (EAP); and $1.00 per student not tested with any CAASPP test. CELDT: $5.00 per student tested within the Annual Assessment or Initial Assessment window. ELPAC: $5.00 per student tested within the Summative Assessment or Initial Assessment window.
