Funding Description

The After School Education and Safety (ASES) Kids Code Grant Pilot Program is to expand access to coding for students participating in existing ASES Programs. The California Department of Education will provide one-time grant funds to eligible ASES programs that focus on computer coding as part of their after school program curriculum.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria (1) Currently funded ASES grantee; (2) School must have verifiable Free and Reduced Price Meal data for 2016-17 through the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System to be considered in the funding determination.
