FY 2018-19 Quality Counts California QRIS Block Grant

Funding Description

This program allocates $10,962,200.00 through September 30, 2019, for local quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) consortium or the Tribal region to support local early learning and care programs serving children birth to five and to increase the number of low-income children in high-quality early learning and care settings.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Must have a QRIS plan on file with the California Department of Education (CDE) or demonstrate that the local QRIS has at least one rated site within the first six months of a signed grant award notification.
