Nonpublic Schools and Agencies Placement Study-Request for Proposal
Funding Description
Assembly Bill 180, requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to contract for a study of nonpublic school or agency (NPS/A) placements for students with exceptional needs. The focus is on intra and interstate NPS/As settings providing special education and related services. Eligible proposers shall include nongovernmental research institutions or institutions of higher education. Proposers may respond independently or as a joint venture with other eligible agencies and must meet the requirements in the Request for Proposal.Eligibility

Required Eligibility Criteria | Eligible applicants must be a nongovernmental research institution or institution of higher education that examines special education nonpublic school or agency (NPS/A). Eligible applicants are required to have expertise in both within the state of California or out-of-state NPS/A placements of California students with disabilities. |
