"Resolved by the Assembly of the State of California, the Senate thereof concurring, That the Legislature of the State of California recognizes September 11 of each year as a Day of Remembrance and Service, and calls upon all Californians to participate in appropriate observances to remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, as a symbol of our love for them, their families, and our own communities, cities, and nation..."
