Waivers
Help for local educational agencies in requesting a waiver from the California State Board of Education; provides flexibility to the California Education Code, Title 5 Regulation, and the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
Content Standards
Content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.
Common Core State Standards
Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in English-language arts and mathematics were adopted by the State Board of Education (SBE) on August 2, 2010.

Guidelines for implementing the content standards adopted by the California State Board of Education that are developed by the Instructional Quality Commission
