Dear Santa Cruz County Superintendent of Schools:

Second Apportionment to the Santa Cruz County
Superintendent of Schools for the
Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program
for the 2023–24 School Year,
Fiscal Year 2022–23

This apportionment, in the amount of $4,432, is made from funds provided in Section 139 of Assembly Bill 181 (Chapter 52, Statutes of 2022), in support of the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program (CSESAP) for the 2023–24 school year for San Lorenzo Valley Unified.

The supplemental amount paid in this second apportionment reflects the amount of the revised final amount of pay withheld from participating classified employees for the 2023–24 school year less the amount apportioned in the first apportionment that was released in September 2024. Allocations for each eligible local educational agency (LEA) is at a rate of $1 dollar for each $1 dollar withheld from the monthly paychecks of participating classified school employees during the 2023–24 school year.

The Santa Cruz County Superintendent of Schools was notified of this apportionment by email sent to their CDEfisc email addresses. The California Department of Education (CDE) requested that the email be forwarded to San Lorenzo Valley Unified, and included a link to this letter and accompanying apportionment schedule posted on the CDE’s web page at https://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/fo/r14/csesap22result.asp.

Warrants will be mailed to each county treasurer approximately four weeks from the date of this letter. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 7415, Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue.
