Dear Ms. Simmons:

Apportionment to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County, Fiscal Year 2025–26

This apportionment, in the amount of $500,000, is made from the General Fund to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County, pursuant to Provision 1 of Item 6100-101-0001 of the Budget Act of 2025 (Chapter 4, Statutes of 2025), as added by Section 198 of Senate Bill 105 (Chapter 104, Statutes of 2025). Funding is provided to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County to support the North Bay Construction Corps (NBCC) Mendocino Willits Cohort. The NBCC is a 3-month, hands-on basic construction training program for seniors in their last semester of high school. The apportionment represents 100 percent of the funds available to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County in fiscal year 2025–26.

Warrants will be mailed approximately three weeks from the date of this letter. This letter and the accompanying apportionment schedule are posted on the California Department of Education’s web page at https://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/fo/r14/ctefsc25result.asp.
