Dear Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools, San Diego County Superintendent of Schools, and Yolo County Superintendent of Schools:

Ninth Apportionment for the
Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant
Amounts Paid from GEER II Fund (Resource Code 3217),
Fiscal Year 2020–21

This apportionment, in the amount of $6,750, is made from the federal Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER II) Fund pursuant to the federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act, 2021, (Public Law 116–260), and California Education Code (EC) Section 43521(a)(2) added by Section 2 of Assembly Bill (AB) 86 (Chapter 10, Statutes of 2021), and amended by Section 34 of AB 130 (Chapter 44, Statutes of 2021) and Section 12 of AB 167 (Chapter 252, Statutes of 2021). Funds are available to local educational agencies (LEAs) in support of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant (ELO-G).
