Dear Ms. Simmons:

Apportionment to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County, Fiscal Year 2023–24

This apportionment, in the amount of $1,000,000, is made from the General Fund to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County, pursuant to Control Section 19.568(c)(18) added to the Budget Act of 2023 in Section 264 of Assembly Bill 102 (Chapter 38, Statutes of 2023) as amended by Control Section 19.568(c)(18) of Section 97 of Senate Bill (SB) 104 (Chapter 189, Statutes of 2023). The apportionment represents 100 percent of the funds available to the Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County in the fiscal year 2023–24.

Furthermore, pursuant to Control Section 19.568(a), funds shall be available for encumbrance through June 30, 2025, and expenditure until June 30, 2027. Funds may be used to pay for costs incurred prior to the enactment of SB 104.
