To all Prospective Bidders:

This addendum hereby revises RFP CN240004 and Addendum 1, as follows:

Section 1. Purpose and Background, Purpose

• Add to the end of the third paragraph:

Extracts are in reference to pulling or producing data.

Section 2. General Proposal Information, 2.4 Contract Funding, and Time Period, 2.4.1 Funding

• Delete it its entirety and replace with:

Contract funding is contingent upon the availability of funds, including appropriation in the annual Budget Act. The total amount projected to be available for this project is estimated to be $2,162,630.00.

If insufficient funds are appropriated in the annual Budget Act for any portion of the work in this contract, or if any other funds upon which this contract is contingent are reduced or no longer available, California Department of Education (CDE) may cancel the contract, or portion thereof, with no liability of any kind accruing to or against CDE, its employees, agents, contractors, or representatives. The bidder shall not be obligated to perform any work, or the contract may be amended by CDE and the successful bidder to reflect a reduction of work and the reduced appropriation subject to appropriate government agency approval.

Section 3. Proposal Specifications, 3.3 Cost Proposal Requirements, 3.3.1 Cost Proposal Specifications

Incentives, like gift cards, are not permitted and will not be reimbursed.

Section 7. Scope of Project, Task 2 – Report, Invoices, and Data File Requirements, Subtask 2.2 Annual Formative Evaluation Report

• Delete first paragraph in its entirety and replace with:

The Technical Proposal must describe in detail the process for delivering an annual formative evaluation report (Annual Report), including a final/comprehensive report in 2031. The Technical Proposal must acknowledge and ensure that at the end of each fiscal year, the successful bidder will email the draft Annual Report to the CDE no later than the last Friday in September. The Technical Proposal must describe in detail the process for working with the CDE collaboratively on finalizing the report by December 1 of each year.
