Request for Proposals for California Community Schools Partnership Program Formative Evaluation

The enclosed Request for Proposals (RFP) invites proposals from eligible bidders to design and administer a formative evaluation program for the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP). The goal of the formative evaluation will be to assess the progress that is being made in implementing the CCSPP in terms of district and school-level practices and provision of services as outlined in the CCSPP statute and California Community Schools Framework (Framework), and to assess the progress that is being made in student outcomes, as described in the Framework and this document, in the schools receiving funding.

It is anticipated that the CCSPP Formative Evaluation contract will begin approximately on or after July 1, 2024, and will continue through December 31, 2031. The actual starting date of the contract is contingent upon approval of the agreement by the Department of General Services and continued California legislative authorization. The California Department of Education (CDE) anticipates a maximum of $2,162,630.00 will be available for this contract.

Interested applicants should note the Schedule of Events in Section 2.3 of the RFP.

If you have any questions regarding the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Goals, please contact the CDE Contracts Office, by email at ContractsOffice@cde.ca.gov.

Sincerely,

Pete Callas, Director
