Documents for Request for Allowance of Attendance Due to Emergency Conditions, Form J-13A submissions.All local educational agencies (LEAs) must attach a Certification Form for Independent Study plan to any Form J-13A submitted to the California Department of Education (CDE) due to emergencies occurring from September 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026.
Beginning in fiscal year (FY) 2026–27, LEAs must attach the Certification Form for Instructional Continuity Plan and Implementation to any Form J-13A submitted to the CDE due to emergencies occurring on or after July 1, 2026.
