Dear County and District Superintendents and Charter School Administrators:

Supplies Limited for Apple and T-Mobile Student Devices

In the two weeks since we announced a unique collaboration with Apple and T-Mobile to free up hundreds of thousands of internet-enabled iPads for California schools, roughly 70 school districts are already in talks to secure technology for their students in need.

At a time when there is a worldwide shortage for computers—and hundreds of thousands of devices are on backorder for months—this arrangement with Apple and T-Mobile is the only opportunity to secure devices during the back-to-school period. An estimated 100,000 iPads are available within four to six weeks and can run any online learning platform, so now is the time to act.

To place an order or for more information, contact your Apple or T-Mobile Education Account Manager.

If you aren’t sure who your representative is, call 877-386-4246 and a dedicated education agent will set up a live meeting for your school district with a T-Mobile representative.

Submit a lead at https://www.t-mobile.com/business/government and T-Mobile will follow up within 24 hours.

If you have any further questions, please email digitaldivide@cde.ca.gov.

Sincerely,

Tony Thurmond
State Superintendent of Public Instruction
