The California Teacher Recruitment Program assists in the recruitment, selection, employment, and professional growth of teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals. It also helps school districts and teacher preparation programs identify and screen potential teachers in the Central Valley, Salinas Valley, and Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties.
California School Directory
Use the "County Offices of Education and Districts" search function of the California School Directory to find contact information for over 1,000 school districts in California. Each school district in California develops its own policies and procedures regarding the hiring of teachers. The Human Resources Department or Personnel Department of a school district should be able to provide the district’s hiring policies and let you know of any open teaching positions.
