2016 Revision of the Science Framework

SB300 (Chapter 480, Statutes of 2013) calls for the revision of the Science Framework to align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

  The Science curriculum framework was adopted by the State Board of Education on November 3, 2016.

  At its July 9–10, 2014, meeting, the SBE approved the guidelines for the 2016 revision for the Science Framework and at its July 8-9, 2015, meeting, the SBE modified guideline 1S.
