Disability Advisory Committee

The Disability Advisory Committee (DAC), established pursuant to Government Code Section 19795(b), focuses on the equitable representation and opportunities for persons with disabilities in state civil service.

The DAC serves in an advisory capacity to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (SSPI) through the Office of Equal Opportunity and will focus on equitable representation and opportunities for persons with disabilities in state civil service at the California Department of Education (CDE).

DAC Meeting Dates and Agendas

All meetings will be held at CDE Headquarters in Sacramento. Agendas are posted at least ten days prior to the meeting date.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The purpose of the NDEAM is to provide information and resources regarding disabilities to all CDE employees by featuring various activities throughout the month.
