Funding Description

Funding is provided to county offices of education to cover costs of administering the unemployment insurance management system for each school employer participating in the School Employees Fund.

Required Eligibility Criteria To receive reimbursement for this program, the Unemployment Insurance Management System Report (Form J-3) must be completed and returned to the California Department of Education by November 1, 2021.

Allocation Formula The amount of reimbursement for actual administrative costs incurred is two dollars ($2) per covered employee submitted on Form J-3, minus state administrative costs not to exceed five cents per covered employee. Adjustments are made for revisions reported for the prior year.
