Embedded Instruction


Funding Description

The Embedded Instruction grant ties the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) assessment to curriculum and instructional practices to strengthen the relationship between assessment and instruction and provides planned and intentional instructional teaching practices for children with disabilities. Local educational agencies (LEAs) will work with experts and researchers in the area of embedded instruction to pilot these techniques and practices in their local early childhood programs.

Required Eligibility Criteria The LEAs were selected based on capacity and program criteria that positions them to participate in a limited-term project.
Other Eligibility Considerations Letter of assurance and supplemental assurances are both required.
