Funding Description

The Direct Support Professional Training program funds the administration of challenge tests and training courses to the direct support professionals working in community care facilities.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria The only eligible applicants for this funding are the four program Service Hubs located at specific Local Educational Agencies. The four Service Hubs have been chosen and operate through a Memorandum of Understanding with the California Department of Education. This funding is processed through a reimbursement to each Service Hub for the administration of the training and testing courses, on a monthly basis.
