Funding Description
The California Early Childhood Special Education Parent-Friendly Resource grant is for the purpose of supporting the transition process from Part C to Part B services, including but not limited to the difference between Part B and Part C services, options for services for families after their child turns three, and a process overview with timelines for a child's transition at age three.Eligibility

Required Eligibility Criteria | Covina-Valley Unified School District has been selected as the only grantee for their expertise in early childhood education and Part C to B transitions. This is the third year for this grantee, and they have created a consortium of other special education local plan areas, county offices of education, local educational agencies, and not for profit organizations as part of their team to address the issue of Part C to B transitions. |
