21st Century One-Time ASSETs Rate Increase


Funding Description

This is an additional $29,000,000 provided to increase the daily reimbursement rates for after school programs in 2023-24 and to sustain the existing rate increase for the daily reimbursement rate, to $10.18 per student per day.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Public or private entities that are currently funded for 21st Century After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) (20 United States Code Section 7173[a][3]) provided that they serve Title I schools that have schoolwide programs, or a Title I school with at least 40 percent of the students eligible for Free and Reduced Price Meals.
Other Eligibility Considerations The school is in Program by the local educational agency to be in need of intervention and support, and all programs must serve the families of students at these schools.
