Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program Technical Assistance Provider

Funding Description

California Education Code 42926 (b) allows up to 5% of the Educational Services for Foster Youth allocation for technical assistance activities to counties that provide educational support for foster youth. There will be approximately $1.6 Million annually that will be awarded for this project.

Required Eligibility Criteria The applicant must demonstrate expertise with the Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) and continuous improvement; ability to foster collaboration among county agencies though interagency agreements which address school stability and information sharing; capacity and willingness to support data gathering and analysis processes; and the ability to support online meetings and resources sharing.
