Funding Description

The California Department of Education is accepting applications for Local Educational Agency Medi-Cal Billing Options Program (LEA BOP) cohort 3. The cohort 3 selection process includes a prospective LEA applicant letter of interest, a survey, analysis of a rubric to determine the awardees based on the eligible applicants, and the final selection (including award letters).

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Individuals, institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria The CDE will be seeking applications for LEA BOP Cohort 3. The cohort 3 selection process includes a prospective LEA applicant letter of interest, a survey, analysis of a rubric to determine the awardees based on the eligible applicants, and the final selection (including award letters).
Other Eligibility Considerations The LEA BOP Cohort 3 grant is intended to increase the number of LEAs participating in the LEA BOP, improve federal claiming opportunities, promote a better understanding of LEA BOP billing requirements and standards, and identify and promote best practices for school-based Medi-Cal billing across the state.
