Funding Description

The Budget Act of 2025 appropriates $5 million of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Section 1003 funds for county offices of education (COEs) for the purposes of review and approval of 2026-27 Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) plans through the CSI prompts in the 2026-27 local educational agency (LEA) Local Control and Accountability Plan.
