Funding Description

The California Center for Inclusive College (CCIC) will establish and expand upon existing inclusive college programs to support and serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their parents, families, local educational agencies, and partner agencies which include but are not limited to universities, the UC Davis MIND Institute, the Department of Rehabilitation, and the Department of Developmental Services.

Required Eligibility Criteria Pursuant to California Education Code (EC) Section 66032.2(a), individual applicants must be a county office of education that works in partnership with its local regional center, its local public postsecondary educational institutions, and the University of California, Davis MIND Institute.

Funding

Legal Authority Pursuant to EC Section 66032.2(b), commencing with the 2024-25 fiscal year, the sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) shall be annually appropriated each fiscal year from the General Fund.
