Migrant Education Program: California Mini-Corps Program


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

The Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) will establish a network of program sites across the state that collaborate with local Migrant Education Program subgrantees to place college tutors in classrooms to support migratory students that are academically at-risk and demonstrate a priority for service. In addition, the applicant will hire bilingual (Spanish) college students who are strongly interested in pursuing a teaching career and provide training and support to pursue a teaching career.

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants must download and keep on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits.
Migrant Education Program Legal Assurances and Certificates

These assurances and certifications are required for the California Mini-Corps (CMC) applicant as a condition of receiving funds. An applicant needs to sign and upload to online application system.

Required Monitoring Documents
The CDE will provide a list of required documents and the deadline by which the qualified applicant must provide the required documents.
Annual and College Coordinator Report
Required for program monitoring. CDE will provide a list of required documents.
Program Reporting Requirements
