Principal Apportionment Data Due Dates

The following is a list of fiscal year (FY) 2026–27 Principal Apportionment Data Collection (PADC) due dates for the First Principal (P-1), Second Principal (P-2), and Annual reporting periods.

Data reporting for FY 2021–22 and after must be completed in the PADC web-based application. Refer to the Web Application Resources available on the Principal Apportionment Data Collection web page for more information and instructions.

Data reporting for FY 2020–21 and prior must be done using the PADC desktop software, available for download on the Principal Apportionment Data Collection web page. To view due dates for prior year corrections, refer to the Principal Apportionment Calendar of Key Deadlines on the Fiscal Calendars web page.

Legend: ADA - Average Daily Attendance; COE - County Office of Education; CALPADS - California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System; CDE - California Department of Education; ERAF - Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund; ELOP - Expanded Learning Opportunities Program; SELPA - Special Education Local Plan Area.

Charter School - Due January 15, April 15, May 03, July 15, and October 01

**Charter schools report Charter School Physical Location P-2 data ONLY if revisions are needed. The charter school must contact the CDE in advance to gain access to the data entry screen. Physical location is considered final as of current year P-2.

SELPA - Due January 15, May 03, July 15, November 01

Local Revenue - Due November 16, January 15, April 15, May 03, August 16
