Professional Learning Modules for Instructors

California Preschool Instructional Network region contacts for the Professional Learning Modules for Transitional Kindergarten Teachers and Administrators in California’s public schools.

Transitional Kindergarten

The California Department of Education Early Education and Support Division is developing professional learning modules for transitional kindergarten (TK) teachers and administrators in California’s public schools. These modules will incorporate Preschool Learning Foundations and highlight alignment with the California Standards for kindergarten.

The delivery of in-person professional learning sessions for TK teachers will be conducted by the California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN). CPIN provides statewide professional learning for teachers and administrators and is organized
by eleven regions of the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association. Sessions are no-cost as recent legislation has funded this important work.

To learn more about in-person professional learning opportunities for TK teachers, please contact the CPIN regional lead in your region.
