2024–25 Private School Affidavit (PSA) Filing Reminder - CDE
The filing of the Private School Affidavit (PSA) is an annual requirement of all private schools offering elementary and high school level instruction in California. Per California Education Code Section 33190, an affidavit shall be filed with the California Department of Education (CDE) by October 15 of each year.
Our records indicate that you filed an affidavit last year and have not yet filed an affidavit for the 2024–25 school year.Should you plan to continue to offer elementary and/or high school level private school instruction, please file a 2024–25 Affidavit as soon as possible. You can still file an affidavit for the 2024-25 school year.
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FILED A 2024-25 AFFIDAVIT, OR ARE NO LONGER OPERATING A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA, PLEASE DISREGARD THIS NOTICE. NO ACTION IS NECESSARY.
To file an Affidavit, please visit the CDE Private School Affidavit 2024–25 filing system at https://www3.cde.ca.gov/psa. Please note that you will need your prior year’s confirmation code to access the system and file your affidavit. You may use the Affidavit filing system to retrieve your confirmation code(s) by providing your email address.
