Five-by-Five Colored Tables

The accountability system combines five Status levels and five Change levels to create a five-by-five colored table that is used to determine performance results for Dashboard state indicators.

Performance Levels (or colors) for state indicators are determined using current year performance (or Status) and the difference from prior year (or Change) to show growth or decline. This results in five color-coded Performance Levels for each indicator. From highest to lowest, the Performance Levels are: Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. Note: "Percentage Point Change" or p.pts is referenced throughout the Change columns in the tables below to signify that Change reflects the numerical difference between two percentages.

The College/Career Indicator displays Status only on the 2023 Dashboard. Therefore, high school local educational agencies and schools, along with their student groups, receive one of five Status levels: Very High, High, Medium, Low, and Very Low. Change and Performance Colors are not reported.
