One-Year Graduate Counts

Downloadable data file of one-year graduate counts by race/ethnicity, student program subgroup, and gender.

The files include state, county, district, and school-level data. Please refer to the file structure for details on what data are contained in the file. Data are not included for districts and independently reporting charter schools (IRCs) that did not certify their California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) End-of-Year 2 submission.

Please Note: The California Department of Education (CDE) has historically collected annual one-year graduation counts during the fall through the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). This data collection consists of all students who graduated during the prior academic year, regardless of when they started high school. One-Year Graduate Count reports are no longer available in DataQuest. The CDE now provides the One-Year Graduate Counts as a downloadable data file, which includes information on student groups, but does not include information about graduates meeting University of California (UC)/California State University (CSU) entrance requirements. Instead, information about graduates meeting UC/CSU entrance requirements can be found in the Four-year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate (ACGR) and Outcome and the Five-year Cohort Graduation Rate and Outcome downloadable data files and related DataQuest reports.
