Funding Description

Funding is provided to the Southern California Regional Occupational Center to assist in the transition to a fully fee-supported funding model as the local control funding formula reaches full implementation.

Required Eligibility Criteria As a condition of receiving funds, the Southern California Regional Occupational Center shall submit an updated operational plan to the Department of Finance and the Legislative Analyst on or before September 1, 2018.

Allocation Formula Funding is allocated to the Southern California Regional Occupational Center for instructional and operating costs in the 2018–19 fiscal year. Pursuant to Section 76 of Assembly Bill 99 (Ch.15/2017), it is the intent of the Legislature to allocate additional resources to the Southern California Regional Occupational Center in the 2019–20 and 2020–21 fiscal years.
