SB 117 COVID-19 LEA Response Funds


Funding Description

Funding provided to local educational agencies to be used for costs associated with maintaining nutrition services, cleaning and disinfecting facilities, personal protective equipment, and materials necessary to provide opportunities for distance learning.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Average daily attendance (ADA) funded as of the 2019-20 First Principal Apportionment, excluding charter school nonclassroom based (NCB) ADA. Each LEA had to be operational as of March 4, 2020.
Other Eligibility Considerations State special schools' ADA equivalent is equal to 97 percent of total enrollment as certified in the CALPADS 2019-20 Fall 1 Submission.
