Product Description

Fresh-cut broccoli florets should be tight, firm, turgid, and dark green without blooming buds. There should be no sulfur odor or discoloration along the stems and cut ends.

Peak Growing Season

Broccoli is available throughout the year. Their peak season is from March to November.

Uses

Broccoli florets can be used in salad bars, added to stir-fries, or steamed.

Storage

Broccoli florets should be stored between 32–35 degrees Fahrenheit with a relative humidity of 90–95 percent. Keep opened bags tightly closed to preserve freshness.

Broccoli florets can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 14 days.
