Tenth Annual Digital Citizenship Week: October 17 to 21, 2022

Every day, teachers lead students in the ever-changing digital world. As this happens, it is important to help students take ownership of their online and offline lives. This includes partnering with parents to empower parents and help them make smart choices with their students.

The California Department of Education (CDE), in collaboration with Common Sense Education and #ICANHELP, will celebrate the tenth annual Digital Citizenship Week from October 17 to October 21, 2022. California focuses on Digital Citizenship each October to emphasize the importance of ongoing discussions of the topic. Participants will focus on the 21st century skills California students need to succeed in school and in life.

Fall Digital Citizenship Week 2022 focuses on:

Everyone Staying Safe Online
